UKISS Steamroller at Southport, 16 players. Took Vyros2 Shadows and Kaelyssa Defenders. Round 1 Vyros2 vs Gunnbjorn, Tom wins roll to go first.

Explosivo on Mountain King, Snipe on Glacier King, Rock Wall put up in front of MK. Stone fuels and everything runs up.

Cast Synergy and Deceleration and everything gets up the table, keeping out of melee threat and accepting that I was going to take some damage from the guns.

Rock Wall moved, spells upkept. Shooting does minimal damage to some of the jacks, but doesn’t take out any systems. Gunny doesn’t Feat.

Couple of mistakes from Tom leaves assassination on the table, and I can start off without fully committing. First Harpy shot gets the Critical Knockdown, essentially guaranteeing the kill, and the rest of the lights shoot into him until he’s dead.

VICTORY

-      Few mistakes from Tom left the assassination on the table. Not Feating, not having the wall in front of Gunny, and having a model behind Gunny to allow him to not be pushed back by Thunderbolt
-      I was always planning on a T3 assassination, assuming a Feat on T2. I was preparing Eiryss to be in position to stop the pushes, and feel that I would have had a decent chance, but the above issues allowed me to push forward a turn and take the opportunity
-      1-0 good start to event
